Veramark Receives Wireless Order From Antigua Public Utilities
PITTSFORD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 8, 1999--Veramark Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:VERA - news) today announced receipt of an order from the Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA) for the VeraBill GSM wireless module.
APUA, the national telephone company of the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda, provides telephone service to business and residential customers in this country of 68,000 people. Earlier this year, APUA began using Veramark's VeraBill software to produce the bills it sends to its customers for telephone services and to support APUA's wireline telephone operations. The VeraBill GSM wireless module will provide billing and customer care capability for APUA's new wireless service.
