John- Firstly, then, I need to have a more specific definition of what you consider 'mystical', and how it differs from the term you chose, 'magical'. You are correct, I extrapolated from your original statement of "existence is magical" to mean YOUR existence, i.e. your mind whereby you know existence. For without mind, in a sense, there is neither existence or non-existence. The old "tree falling in the forest" conundrum.
And John, you have not always been in existence. You were caused. A sperm and egg came together, and whether by the act of God as I believe, or simply as a by-product of nature of the development of your brain, your mind was imbued into your body. Your beginning, while perhaps not discernable to yourself, but I think your parents would beg to differ.
As far as your "I KNOW...etc." quote, no I don't find it that provocative, ominous or surprising. It is your claim to be God. The same claim Lucifer made, the same claim Adam made, and the expression of your fallen nature towards God.
And one more thing: How else can one learn, and know, except he apply his imagination to concepts new to him, in true pursuit of the truth? |
