The sarcasm is thick today!

Which post Charley (number), to me, honor is an amourphous idea, and one that is derived from others, not a single aspect.

Actions can be honorable, but people cannot be honorable without doing those actions.

For example,
A Serjant who jumps on a grenade to save the General did an honorable act. But he may or may not have been an honorable man.

Honor also encompasses traits which change with culture. 150 years ago, a plantation owner who wouldn't sell his slaves' children, and instead kept the family togethor was honorable. Today, the same man would be despised, simply because he owns slaves.
