Joe, RE:"If you were a motherboard maker, wouldn't YOU have wanted to see Athlon in quantity first? After all, this is AMD. They do have a track record. Who was going to take it on faith that the chips would be there?" Sure, you have a point but I would have expected AMD to compensate for this more so than they did.
