PACCAR Awards Year 2000 Analysis And Planning Project To Information Management Resources
CLEARWATER, Fla., April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Information Management Resources Inc (IMR) announced today that it has been awarded the initial phases of a full life cycle Year 2000 compliance project by PACCAR of Renton, Washington. The contract is valued at just over $1 million. IMR noted the initial project phases include Year 2000 impact analysis, development of a global, enterprise-wide Year 2000 conversion plan, and completion of a Year 2000 pilot conversion as proof of concept.
IMR uses its Century Change-Planning Analysis and Conversion ("CC-PAC(R)") methodology to provide a cost-effective solution to the Year 2000 problem. The CC-PAC methodology defines the methods for performing Year 2000 services through four separate phases: analysis, planning, conversion and implementation. The CC-PAC methodology, together with the Company's proprietary Year 2000 toolset, Transform2000(R), and a rigorous process approach form the Company's "total solution" to resolving millennium compliance problems.
