Listing Complements MAINTECH's European Expansion Plans

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Global MAINTECH Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: GLBMD -
news), a worldwide leader in systems for data centers, today announced it has received approval for listing on the
Third Market Segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and will be embarking on its first major European Investor
Relations program. The Company's shares start trading, September 7, 1999 under the symbol ``GOC' and German
securities code (Wertpapierkennummer) 907 364. The Geneva Group/TeamWork Kommunikations Gmbh
facilitated the European listing and will also provide the European investor relations services to the Company.

``We are excited to expand our opportunities in Europe in both product sales and shareholdings,' said David
McCaffrey, CEO of Global MAINTECH. ``In addition, we are fortunate to be among the numerous companies
from the U.S. that were chosen to list their shares on the German exchange.'

This listing on the Frankfurt exchange complements the Company's growth strategies. Recently the Company signed
an agreement with Hitachi Data Systems Corporation to sell the Virtual Command Center product throughout
Europe and Great Britain. The recently acquired subsidiary Breece Hill Technologies, which designs, manufactures,
and sells DLT automation storage systems, has sales and service operations in Germany and the UK. The Company
also sells its Event Notification telephony based software from its Singlepoint Systems, Ltd. office in London.
