Let's make the argument that there is a genetic predisposition toward committing hate crimes. (Science has already identified genes which go part way there.) How do you propose that society deal with the person who says "all my life I have known that I wanted to beat up blacks and jews"? BTW, I accept that one way to avoid answering this is to say "well, one hurts people and the other doesn't." That doesn't answer the question. And whether the exercise of homosexual behavior hurts society is, IMO, at this point an unanswered question. so please go beyond that and answer the question I asked.
