wayne, good points but the statisticians need to keep in mind that the pace of technological obsolescence is rapid with little or no salvage value. as with most of the lies and hype surrounding this mania there is an element of truth but they stretch it to new limits. As you say the impact on valuations would minimal. Its strange how the gov't is so quick to implement changes with a bullish bias but the options scam continues with heavy resistance to change for years.-g- mike
