Does anyone recall this level of carping from the fed in 1987? I was around and recall lots of concern but not this daily drumbeat. The dow is widely expected to e ~560 next year, giving us a totally-out of-control pe of 19.65 on next years earnings. This is with bond yields around 6% while in 1987 bond yields were at 10% and the pe was 24.

It's nice that the fed is being responsible and watching out for us but this is getting silly.
