I've seen enough of them going off at the ask to conclude that most of it is buying. Some trades are between the bid and ask, but most are at the ask. I think if I were to write a call on CS it would be more out of the money than the $20, but I don't see any positions open at this time.

I agree that if it were all CALL writing, then that would be bearish as to CS, but someone has to be willing to buy the options, even if you write them, you still have to have a buyer and there are plenty of buyers - even at the ask.
