Howdy Kathy!! The phone thingy is just the beginning of what is about to happen in the cellular business. There will be a lot of wireless data offerings soon. I didn't have this in the RV when I stopped at your home. I picked up some of the IBM PCMCIA wireless LAN adapters at the ham radio convention, in Shelby (this last weekend) and now, I have the laptops in the RV networked. Which is nice, because I was able to upgrade the software on that laptop I use for navigation. Isn't this the way a CEO / Sales Manager / Tech-Nerd is supposed to behave? :-) A bunch of my ham buddies in Atlanta, are working for the Bellsouth company that is offering DSL in Austin. Have you seen the rates of a high speed DSL connection yet? Check out the offerings.... I got a snapshot view of how they do it, and data services are about to explode on the 'wire' networks also. Take care, and say "Hi" to the kids for me.
