Back to business pronto! Everen cc with Mark Roberts was extremely positive. He predicts 50% earnings growth y/y (at least that's what I think he said). He seems concerned that China buildout of cdma will be delayed for a while but seems confident a nationwide cdma buildout will occur. His earnings model does not include the expansion of cdma in China beyond what has been announced. He also noted that EVERYWHERE cdma has been deployed in the world, it is preferred by consumers. He expects at a minimum, cdma will have 15% of the world market in 2000, and by 2003 25% of the market. I expect his estimates are low in this regard, but 25% of the 2003 market is huge, nonetheless. GSM is Toast.
