Thanks for attempting to answer my question on tropospheric ducting but my question was whether either a TDMA based (like iDEN) or a CDMA based air interface had an advantage when considering the interference that can be caused by tropospheric ducting. I received an informative reply from a radio engineer which you would have seen if you had looked at the response to my post.

In case you are interested, the engineer confirmed my educated guess that less disruption would be caused to the CDMA based system.

I am sorry if my posts here have unintentionally pushed some of your buttons.
