You will find few, if any, "original" hemi's at the tracks...you will find Keith Black and Mopar reproductions they make for the drag racers of today. An original Hemi car or motor is big dollars these days...50-100K+ in some cases. Stock they were rated 425hp I think..in actuallity they were closer to 500....with slight mods you can get 650-750 out of them, a 1000 is reaching it a bit unless you're talking Nitrous Oxide of course :-) An original Hemi car is a dream car of mine...man are they sweet!!
