Everen Broadcast Much of my transmission was garbled, but what I did hear was all positive. Reiterated that he had just said that he doubted Q would really clobber his estimate this quarter, although they will likely beat it. He did seem to back off from saying that margins are falling - clearly saying that they just are not improving as management had originally hoped. On ASPs he seemed to back off too - saying ASP's are now declining at a rate more like you would normally expect, whereas earlier in the year they were not. Said everywhere cdma goes head to head with tdma or gsm it is the clear competitive choice of consumers. Said worldwide subs would hit 39 million 9/30/99. Asked about Brazil he said something very interesting - first, that he expects cdma to eventually get 50% of the Brazil market (with tdma most of the rest), and second, HOWEVER, there is upside even to that as his research indicates that some carriers who have already announced intentions to build tdma systems are presently thought to be reassessing that decision and may consider going with cdma. All in all what I heard was very, very positive, including his expectation for 50% CAG of per share net over the next five years Hmmmmm, lets see... from a $4.00 base at 50% for 5 years.... thats over $30 per share eps 5 years out..... hmmmmm, times some multiple equals....????
