How do I import the format into excel?

The file to be imported should have the extension .txt or preferably .csv (which stands for comma separated values).

Get the Open dialog in Excel and set the file type to Text Files. Then just navigate to the file and open it. You can then do a Save As and make the type an Excel file with extension .xls.

Pretty easy actually.
