James; I have long said the same of the MM's manipulation, but the other scenario that has not been touched on with MXR or NPEC is daytraders. Daytraders would sometimes be noted by the Number of trades with high volume and small price fluctuation. This may be more difficult to track than manipulation of the MM's.
