Maybe Steve Harmon, or Ryan Jacobs, or another analyst will take a look at or re-visit GBIX. I strongly believe it is still valued as an ISP as it was in 1998, but with the data centers they've grown into a web-hoster, they have their own network (EXDS does not and exds criticized for not having such), they've established several 2-way (the better kind) of peering relationships, have additional / integrated services such as streaming video/audio with Dan Rayburn working for Sprint/Intel to run live streams of music concerts, for example, they do their own encoding as they have an expertise in it, if they are currently doing streaming, then they could easily paricipate in the various forms of video over the internet (vid on demand, streaming, video-conferencing), and they even have the most secure data bank in the world with their 2 foot thick of steel vault that came with the purchase of the bank building on Centre street. |
