Your analysis may be fine in a vacuum but you fail to account for a possible announcement. The shorts can only play while the future is uncertain. However, the company can announce a change to its future prospects ending the game. Like cockroaches, the experienced ones disappear when the lights go on, the less fortunate get,,well,,the usual treatment. The charts still suck (sell) but they cannot predict what only the insiders know. So if one does not hold insider info...and they don't know exactly how much time is left..well punk,,how lucky do you feel today???
