Qdog - Anything that is wireless is susceptible to interference, ergo CDMA is a proven technology in that regard. Secondly, CDMA is not just applicable to wireless. Coax, especially CATV, is an area which CDMA would be a good technique to employ when they get around to going digital. There is even research being done in the realm of fiber using CDMA. Now we are getting seriously philosophical. I don't deny that there are other realms which are interference driven besides mobile wireless (low frequencies in cable being a good example). But, my point was only one of relative advantage. I suspect that in LMDS N>I, whereas in mobile I>>N. And while CDMA is very useful against I (i.e. non-guassian noise), CDMA ain't much good against N (i.e. thermal noise). Clark
