BOB.....I've meant to check with Rich re: treatment of Preferred dividends....I would assume ..always dangerous that while common share div would normaly contain a return of capital in some %...a preferred would be 100 %div income as far as IRS was concerned....and therefore be less attractive to individual taxpayers in higher brackets....I believe however that corporate owners of preferred shares have tax preference on the same income making the preferred more desirable......any comments welcome......JIM P.S. both GLB/GLB-A should be X-div 2-3 weeks.
