While is is possible that the "Dell benchmarks" are in fact true, it seems very strange that Intel and Dell, both huge backers of rambus, would formally present such data. I mean, come on, there are ways to gild the lily, but that is not it.

Although I, like Dan, understood that Rambus would not offer immediate benefits for current apps, like Word, it does not seem reasonable that it would degrade the performance. Or, if it did, the results would not have ben buried under ten tons of gobbldy gook. Too weird.
