Int'l Properties launches Web site for real estate investors latest release International Properties Group Ltd IPX Shares issued 33,352,562 1999-09-08 close $0.94 Wednesday Sep 8 1999 Mr. Phillip Carroll reports International Properties Group has successfully launched a Web site using proprietary Internet technology that will permit its Equityplus members (preferred clients) easy access to a special on-line viewing of the company's 142-unit, Glenora Manor condominium project in Edmonton. This will allow over 5,000 of IPG's clients to interactively educate themselves at home and interactively purchase $10-million worth of real estate from IPG. Presently, only IPG's preferred clients can visit the new site and click through a complete on-line offering outlining the key features of the project. At the same time, IPG real estate coaches, who are available by phone, can walk the Equityplus members through the interactive Web site to ensure any questions are answered in a complete and timely fashion. The Internet site includes: investment highlights, which review the financial health of the Alberta economy; the benefits of investing in Edmonton, a city that will enter the new millennium with one of the most vibrant economies in Canada, and having a vacancy rate of less than 2 per cent, which is expected to force rents to increase; an overview of the Glenora high-rise units, including pricing; location map that positions the project in relation to Edmonton's city centre, a golf course, museum, and major transportation routes; a virtual tour featuring 360-degree views of the lobby, master bedroom, kitchen, outdoor pool, and recreation room; portraits of the exterior including an aerial view, swimming pool, front landscape, and model suite; floor plans of the bachelor, one, and two bedroom suites; property reports, which include third-party appraisals and structural engineering reports; and an extensive array of financial information that details essentials such as pricing and comparable figures on other properties of similar quality.
"We believe this is the first time individual real estate investors have had access to this type of Internet product," said Phillip Carroll, IPG's chief executive officer. (c) Copyright 1999 Canjex Publishing Ltd. canada-stockwatch.com |
