Computer Learning Centers Commences Classes At
Norcross, Georgia Campus and Signs Lease
Agreement to Enter the Denver Market

Anaheim and Los Angeles Learning Centers Accredited Until 2003

FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 8, 1999-- Computer Learning Centers, Inc. (Nasdaq National Market:
CLCX - news; ``CLC') today announced that classes have commenced at its 27,000 square foot Learning Center located in
Norcross, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Norcross is CLC's second Learning Center in the greater Atlanta area, joining
Marietta which was opened in January 1999. CLC now has 28 Learning Centers in 11 states and Canada. The Company also
signed a lease agreement to open a new, 20,000 square foot Learning Center in Denver, Colorado, marking its entrance in this
market. Classes are expected to begin in the second quarter of fiscal 2001, pending the receipt of all necessary regulatory
approvals.

The Company also announced that the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (``ACICS') has renewed
the accreditation of CLC's Anaheim and Los Angeles Learning Centers through 2003. Accreditation by an organization
recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education, such as ACICS, which is required in order for an institution to remain eligible to
participate in Title IV Student Financial Aid Programs, demonstrates that an institution meets the standards of professional
conduct involving educational practices and business ethics. The renewed accreditation also applies to Anaheim's branch
campuses in Dallas, TX and Fort Worth, TX, as well as Los Angeles' branch campuses in Cherry Hill, NJ and Plymouth
Meeting, PA.

Reid Bechtle, Chief Executive Officer of CLC, commented, ``Denver and Atlanta are two of the country's most robust
economic environments and the demand for skilled IT professionals in these regions is expected to increase. These Learning
Centers will offer high-quality, hands-on information technology ('IT``) education and training, job placement assistance and
support services. Each will have new equipment and facilities, and students will utilize an instructor led, hands on curriculum
focused on rapidly growing technical fields such as client/server, databases and object-oriented programming. Day and evening
classes will be offered.

The Norcross Learning Center is located at 5675 Jimmy Carter Boulevard, Norcross, GA 30071, (678) 966-9411. The
Denver Learning Center will be located at 5801 West 44th Avenue, Denver, CO 80212.

Computer Learning Centers provides information and computer-related education and training at 28 Learning Centers in the
United States and Canada. The Company designs programs and courses to meet current information technology education
needs, offering instruction focused on client/server systems and applications programming, networking administration and
management, help desk operations and computer technical support.
