Walter: Latest News MacMillan Gold Corp - News Release Large aeromagnetic anomalies discovered in Guyana MacMillan Gold Corp MMG Shares issued 9696626 1997-04-02 close $0.38 Thursday Apr 3 1997 News Release See Exall Resources Limited (EXL) News Release Mr Stephen Roman reports Exall has discovered multiple, aeromagnetic anomalies that are associated with extensive artisanal gold mining on its Wakadanawa concession in southern Guyana. The discovery is the result of 1,706 line kilometres of total field magnetic and radiometric data, flown at a line spacing of 200 metres. The survey was conducted following a successful first phase reconnaissance program of the area that lies in an extensive greenstone belt near the Marudi Mountain gold deposit. Six major structures were discovered with two anomalies measuring over three kilometres in length and coinciding with the artisanal mining activity. Exall and its joint venture partner, MacMillan Gold Corp, (50:50) have now completed a work plan for a follow-up ground geochemical and sampling program which will begin immediately in order to define targets for drilling. Exall's management is encouraged by these results since any one of the anomalies has the potential to host one or more significant gold deposits.
