Joel,

I live in Europe, and I am well versed in European stock markets, ind addition
to the stock market in Israel. The only stock market that I repect out
of the US is Swiss Stock market. There are shares such as NeslŠ, and
Royal Dutch that are safe havens and have given solid return over the
years. Any other market ouside of UK is frieghtening. Buying into International
funds is also a very unsafe. You pay in dollar, and your dollar is
converted in various currencies and you may loose, not becasue your fund manger
did not pick right or the stock did not perform, one losses as the
currencies exchange rate fluctuate. So your stocks can performs 20%
but you fund will loose 35%. It is a bit complicated to explain that
all here.

I believe in US stock market. It is ran by performance and greed. They
ar both healthy evidance. I ow CSCO, but I am well divesified. I like
to know what stocks or sectors would you choose in 1997. I thank you
in advance for your comments. If you need more info on INTL funds,
my e-mail is bgp5252@uninetcom.it
