This 9/9/99 date is a total red herring -- this date will be expressed as 09/09/99 in every computer that uses six bytes for the date and 09/09/1999 in every computer that uses eight bytes for the date. If there are any glitches, we are all in more trouble than Y2K. #5 long and waiting for the engine to ignite. MGG
