If DELL follows in the GE model,
Strategic Acquisitions will play a roll in the ever increasing scope of DELL businesses. GE businesses grow their revenue and earnings through multiple paths each year including acquisitions, market share penetration and a concerted effort to lower cost of products so they can remain competitive on price and maintain margin.
It seems as if DELL had left the acquisition tool unused on the table for so long. I am glad to see them acquiring a small company that adds to the technology base for the company.
