This is an educational thread you've started. As Hubert says, it sounds like a "greater fool" scheme.

What happens to the dilution of the shares when the empty shell finds a product? Would it not expand so that today's price is almost completely irrelevant (ie. instead of 25 million shares outstanding, there might be 200 million.)

It seems that if the markets are efficient here, this issue should be trading near the value of a "shell" and not on the possibility that a viable product will come under its umbrella.

Please elaborate on what happens to the value of someone's investment *if* the shell finds a crab.
