If, if, if....keep hoping. Ah, the problem with backing a technology laggard!

AMD does not need any 64 bits (x86 or anything else) before the end of 2000. The Athlon is sufficient to take huge market share at the volume high-end space. Thank you.

On the other hand, if Intel doesn't get Wilamette and 0.13 out by next Christmas, Merced isn't going to make up for the revenues (or profits), does that occur to you? (Hint: this "if" is not in Intel's favor)
