David--When the Spirit of God guides us, we will not err.
Jesus was hated by the High Priest, the Sanhedrin, the Pharisees and
finally the inflamed Jewish mob. His love, however, never waned.
Suprisingly, the Pagan Romans--The Galt Gang of 2000 yrs. ago,
were more compassionate than the religious crowd. The most deadly spirit
is not the pagan spirit but the self-righteousness religious spirit.
Like Jesus, our hearts often break when we have to preach the hard
truths that can ultimately break the chains of Satan. Our hearts, like Jesus's heart, are torn by rejection.
The mob will always rage. As we go forth to remove the shackles on peoples lives, let us be certain
we remove them and not replaced them with heavier shackles.
Do God's will according to the gift that he as given you and all will
be well. By each exercising our gifts, the Body of Christ will ultimately be edified.
Our love for God and our love for man confirms that we have
not taken the wrong road.
