Meet Vivek Mehra Co-Founder Cobalt Networks Inc.

Vivek Mehra, Vice President of Products and Co-founder, leads the Engineering and Product Management teams at Cobalt Networks. Prior to starting the company he was the senior architect and Systems Engineering Manager for Apple Computer's Pippin platform, the first multimedia Internet set-top console for consumers. Mr. Mehra recruited and led the team that defined and delivered the system architecture, highly-integrated ASICs, board design, industrial design, and the manufacturing operation in Japan. At Apple, Mr. Mehra also led the architecture and development of the second-generation Newton personal digital assistant (PDA). Prior to Apple, he developed high-performance workstations at Silicon Graphics and Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Mehra holds a M.S. in Computer Engineering and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
