That's where the real value in 3Com is. Not in network hardware/software, not in modems/NICs, not even in Palm hardware. The real value is in wireless software and services. If 3Com executes right, it has the potential of becoming the "wireless AOL". Right now it dominates the hardware the software and the services. Of course, there is lots of competition, and it may need strong partners to make it. If it does make it, $40, $50, even $80/share will seem ridiculously low. K
