Don,

I may be in the minority, but I've always considered Rambus Christmas to be the day the present gets opened -- the day the wraps come off of Camino, the day that Dell lays out the RDRAM-based systems for all to see, the day that the "world" can begin to get a view of RDRAM. And most importantly, the day that Rambus begins to earn royalties.

It never really meant to me that suddenly the stock price would skyrocket.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see the anti-Rambus postings pick up steam from there (as bad as it may seem now <G>). Efforts to slow the momentum should increase even more.

There are many Xmas gifts that you can unwrap but don't get the gratification right at that moment. That's what Rambus is. But at least on Christmas morning everyone gets to see what the gift is -- there's no more guessing, there's now the greater expectation of getting to play with the toy.

Also, I don't think of you as the Grinch -- he's too mean looking. I think of you more as that big Abominable Snowman thing on the Rudolph special -- big and fuzzy and, in the end, turns into a friendly helper (well, I guess the Grinch does too, but he still looks mean). <G>

Just Kidding!!!!!!!!!! <G>

Dave
