Chris, many Christians I know wish that they could convert many to their Faith but, none of them are going to go out among the masses and get in their faces about it. What we attempt to do is let people know what our position and benefits from our Faith are all about and,if anyone feels like they would like the same thing, they are made completely welcome among us. I, evidently like you, do not see how this could be construed as aggressive. The movement I have chosen to connect with does not go along with the denominational concept of one,or a group, of mortal men dictating how we should worship or who we should hate because it suits their particular agenda. Some people who condemn religion are lumping all Christians together into one pile as if they all believed exactly alike. That is why I do not like to use the word religion. According to my Webster's a religion is a "man made" set of rules on how to worship one,or more, dieties. Anyone,or any object, could be chosen as a diety, a routine of worship established, and voila!,you have a religion. I prefer to use the word Faith...TD |
