Actually, it would be interesting if you (Scumbria, KZ, Kap and other CPU guys) can comment on the performance and software support aspects of such an implementation. There was a Micro article that discussed a hypothetical implementation: Simultaneous Multithreading: A Platform for Next-Generation Processors computer.org Unfortunately you can't view the article without paying $$$.
