Yes, Lars. If the return is exactly 10% every year, then both the average and compound returns will be 10%.

I'm not sure what formula you are referring to. Somebody else's, perhaps?

BTW, compound return, not average return, is what is most important to me, because that's what you actually get to keep.

Sam, how about if I post the next weekly survey in its entirety, and thereafter only post something if it is worth noting? Most weeks it isn't much different from the week before, and 99%+ of the time it doesn't go above 55% or below 25% bullishness.
