Your kitchen sounds like such a special place! You make me think of my dear friend in Virginia whose kitchen always has something wonderful happening- magic stuff- and my favorite thing in the world was to sit drinking tea and nibbling on whatever was being created. The conversation was just as good as her food; she edits a literary magazine. Gosh, I miss her.

Avocados are terribly expensive here- I would think they'd be worse there!
