Well taht may have had something to do with McVay's way of picking
a target, (generally and just off the cuff) I see Bob Ricks roll
in Waco as mostly being one doing Press Releases ( damage control )
but I don't know he had much to do with the actual command decisions.

There was one agent who resigned during the standoff, and if say I
had been an FBI agent who got sucked into that mess the ATF made
and was convinced we were being wrongly used , resigning is about
all anyone can expect. In doing that he gives a message without
saying anything, and even then he has to be concerned about
future repercussion. I don't expect FBI agents to come forward
with information ever , it's the justice departments job to
dig out the truth. However it looks like to me the Justice Dept
has been more interested in hiding the truth than in looking
for it. I feel I've meet some fairly decent FBI agents in my
life, even most of the ATF agents I personal meet ( some years ago )
were regular people . Things do seem to have changed, and now
the ATF is flooded with military types and the quality of people
they get is nothing like the quality the FBI gets.

Beyond all that the Delta Force should not have in any way been
involved in this, and I smell CIA control, with the ATF getting
in bed with them, but that's hard to prove.
Still the foot prints are there, and I question if the FBI is
not getting a lot of the heat that should be more focused on the
CIA/ATF ? Some powers that be seem to be doing all they can
to create a loop hole in the law that is supposed to keep
the military out of Domestic law enforcement.
The separation of powers our founders vision wasn't
explicate enough to cover this huge Federal Police Force we have developed, things seem to have gotten out of control and
Waco seems to be a profound symptom of something gone
seriously wrong.
