ORCL definitely has benefited from conversions to its software as a result of y2k. The analysts keep saying expenditures will be cut. Earlier this year all the mainframe software companies were being crushed. They definitely have confused the issue. Different companies affected in different ways, I guess. My take has been that weaker companies have blamed y2k as causing their earnings shortfalls. Good Luck, GC
