I shoved my dad once. When it was the changing of the guard, you might say. He too did his best. I think I was younger, say 16, and he too (imho) deserved it ~ still, it had the same effect, of incredible sadness.

Makes me cry to think about it.

I think we're straight now.

Now I gotta go to the bank with red eyes and sniffles, goddamit.
