Investor2, The percentages are just for his management services. He has you open a discretionary account at Schwab. Any fees Schwab charges are in addition to his management fee. Compared to the industry averages his management fees are not unreasonable. However, what gives me a bad taste is how he is always preaching how investors should be handling things themselves yet advertises for management services at the same time. How can he tell one group of people that he should manage their money for them for a fee and at the same time tell another group of people that they should take control of the wheel of the star ship as to guide them nirvana? His management firm is called the B.J.Group (Brinker + Jacobs) km
