Ron,

Actually I did answer it, but I guess you just couldn't understand it. I don't know why I'm going to all the trouble to lead you through this, but here goes... try to stay close so you don't get lost.

1998 revenue on an equivalent basis was $1.85 billion (my figure from the LSI 10K, which you can verify. Look in the Notes, Section 2, labelled Pro Forma Results...) Let's guess JD used the same for the sake of argument. Multiply that by either 1.08 or 1.10 (that's 8 or 10 percent growth) and you get right about $1.998 to $2.035 billion dollars.

To date, LSI has reported about $965 million for the first 2 quarters, $464 M in the first Q, $501 M in the second Q. Still with me? Hope so.

This is where everyone has to make their own assumptions. According to JD's growth rate, LSI will continue to grow for the rest of the year, with around $1.1 billion in revenues for the last two quarters (that's an 11% increase over the first half of the year).

You on the other hand have told us that any novice investor KNOWS that LSI is growing at 30%+ this year. So tell us Ron, you and all the intelligent analysts really think LSI is going to have $2.405+ billion in revenue by years end? In case your calculator isn't working that means LSI has to have $1.44 billion or more in revenue over the last 2 quarters (i.e nearly 50%+ more than the first half).

Take all the time you want to respond, but the answer will still be the same. Unless LSI has 50% growth for the second half of the year, you were incredibly wrong, your original post and ranting rebuttal look more idiotic every time you defend them, and denying reality won't help matters any (the previous sentence was posted in a very non-defensive, calm demeanor, i.e. note the general lack of capitalization). No stumps, no mentions of other JD stocks... just logic versus stupidity.
