Teflon: Missed Jack Welch of GE. What did he say?

That is a reminder that GE is the granddaddy of the "nurturers". For those who may not realize it, GE is a bank without the name for the major part of its business GE Capital.

I was serious that perhaps we should consider (at least discuss) GE for inclusion in the "nurturers" list here. Especially if ICGE is to be the next GE we ought to look at the "real thing" as Coca Cola says.

If GE is now going into e commerce that becomes even more attractive.

If I remember, Jack Welch says that he will only enter a business unless he sees GE as either # l or # 2 in it.

Does he expect GE to be # l or # 2 in e commerce?

If so, that would be a pretty big busines even for GE, no?
