sector, buying at 6-11 was almost a no-brainer... at these levels, since i own a chunk, it's a no-brainer to me to take a little profit (even if it's just selling a few calls to basically get back some of my original principal). i agree with all of the potential announcements that may push this stock very quickly into the 30's, but at the same time this is a management team that has lobbed some bombs that none of us ever saw coming.... if one of those untimely bombs explodes, then large profits evaporate. i'm not into ego when it comes to owning stocks. i enjoy being "right", but making money is the ultimate target. with large gains, i'm not "right" until i take some off the table and pocket those gains.
that being said, i'd be willing to bet a dollar to a doughnut that we'll be up today <g>. but you know what? i've never lost money by taking a profit (especially, if i i'm using the house's money and have pocketed mine). besides, if i'm going to gamble, i think i'd prefer the craps table.
