Teflon: And the news on the Global Crossing / Microsoft / Softbank partnership for wire under the seas in Asia is another sign that MSFT may be a "nurturing" company in the making. Some might lift an eyebrow on that, give the hard ball image MSFT has in some quarters, but MSFT is buying pieces of companies in cable, TV, media, general communications, telecom equip and on and on. Is there a pattern there? And is MSFT becoming a GE like animal? Cha2
