JWGenesis Shares Will Double on Web Debut, Business Week Says


Boca Raton, Florida, Sept. 9 (Bloomberg) -- JWGenesis Financial Corp. shares will double in the next year, Wall Street Strategies Inc. analyst Charles Payne said in Business Week's ``Inside Wall Street' column. JWG is diversifying into the Internet and starting mvp.com, a Web portal that provides information about sports, health and fitness. The site, which will be promoted by former Denver Broncos quarterback and JWG investor John Elway, debuts at the Super Bowl in January.

In August, Elway reported holding a 7.9 percent stake in JWG in the form of an option to buy 500,000 shares, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
