I guess it's just one of those things that allows for alot of loopholes and creative accounting. The government doesn't care what the brokerage houses do as long as it doesn't affect them. Who gives a crap about the public? Certainly not the government considering how they only assigned one guy from the SEC to watch over Vancouver. Are they trying to kill the guy? I guess they're saying it loud and clear . . . We don't give a crap about investors.

We have to take responsibility for dealing with the brokerage community ourselves. If we are wise to their scams they can't really continue to run them. Look at how badly the VSE has been hurt by their past. Sooner or later people say enough is enough and we're not going to take it anymore. With the Internet we as the public can send out the message to a wide audience and sooner or later the brokerage community will change to reflect what the investing public wants.

In countries where this type of corruption continues what happens is people just don't put money into the stock market . . . of course they are mostly third world countries. If we don't change our system we will be on the same level.
