Jim: This story on Korean companies selling in Taiwan reminds me. One of the advantages CDMA may have in the "opening to China" is Korea.

While there are political and other reasons for the Chinese to be a bit stand off ish to the US, does that apply to Korea and the huge CDMA base of suppliers in Korea who are already doing all the right stuff in China - lavish entertainment, dancing girls, (bribes - naw - that couldn't be) , etc. etc.? Would Korean CDMA be a little more palatable than CDMA from the great white [sic.] US?

And the Q picks up some royalties along this trail.

Worth thinking about, no?

So in sum, there may be two strings to the Q's bow, the direct US string and the indirect (more subtle - how Asian can you get) Korean string. Neat, no?

Hey. Dr J and his managers have a lot going for them re China.

And remember there is no GSM repeat no GSM in Japan. CDMA is alone in effective digital - CDMA One has a clear field.

And Korea is a base nearby both. Like wow !
