Well, not really. The whole story hasn't been told about that yet. I probably shouldn't share this insider info...but, since you asked. Nike's second quarter numbers are going to be disasterous. Heaven's Gate members were wearing the latest Nike prototype athletic shoe, a line that Nike was betting the farm on. Called Air Clintons. The shoes looked promising during R & D but after production was going full tilt boogie in Indonesia, they discovered that the hot air pockets in the heel tended to blow out when the wearer walked up or down a staricase. Anyway, a good time to short Nike, according to my brother.
